As a Technician/Glazier, you will work with office staff and supervisors to service customers by offering automotive glass repair work. 

With our home office located in Newberry, SC, UGS is proud to serve SC customers in their automotive needs, offering them the best quality possible. We offer free mobile service for automotive glass repair or replacement. We are also proud to be the only glass company serving the entire Class 1 rail industry in the United States. We are the industry leader in custom onsite heavy equipment glass replacement: windshields, windows, and specialty glass for rail equipment and facilities. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of automotive installation experience desired.
• 19 years of age or older
• Ability to operate UGS vehicle, following all safety, cleanliness policies, and traffic laws.
• Comfort working outside in a variety of weather conditions.
• Present a professional appearance.
• Physical requirements: bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with minimum of 3 years recordable driving experience
• Ability to pass drug tests and background checks
• Ability to operate UGS truck, following all safety, cleanliness policies, traffic laws, and maintain a safe driving record.
• Comfort working outside in a variety of weather conditions
• Present a professional appearance and wear professional protective equipment
• Physical requirements: lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs. for short periods, working at elevated heights, and standing for extended periods of time.
